BNU – HKBU UNITED INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE （UIC）

UIC, jointly established by Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University in 2005, is the first full-scale collaboration between academic institutions from mainland China and Hong Kong. As a liberal arts college, UIC's education encourages a high level of student-faculty interaction and collaboration. UIC is located in the proximity of Zhuhai, a city which is not only environmental-friendly but also plays a key role in the “Greater Bay Area (GBA)” initiative. Riding on the location, the College endeavors to undertake high quality frontier research in its niche areas which will impact the development of the GBA.

UIC成立于2005年，由北京师范大学和香港浸会大学于广东省珠海市携手合办，是首家中国内地与香港高等教育界合作创办的大学。UIC秉承博雅教育办学理念，同时鼓励师生高度交流与合作。UIC位于环境宜人、地处“大湾区”核心区域的广东珠海市。目前，依托地理上的优势，UIC致力高质前沿的科学领域研究，力图为大湾区发展添砖加瓦。

BNU-UIC Evaluation Research Centre
Beijing Normal University - UIC Evaluation Research Centre (BNU-UIC Evaluation Research Centre) follows China’s national strategy of innovation and development, and stands at the international forefront of knowledge and technology. The Centre aims to forge a collaborative platform for cutting-edge evaluation research by combining research efforts and insights by universities and by societies at large, both in China and abroad. The Centre specializes in exploring and solving the most challenging problems in the current evaluation research field, such as complex object evaluation, AI-aided evaluation, big data evaluation, influential network evaluation, etc. The Centre engages in a comprehensive range of activities such as consultation & evaluation, scientific research, and talent cultivation. The Centre aims to develop into a research and service institution in the field of evaluation research with significant global impact.

Job Description
BNU-UIC Evaluation Research Centre is now inviting Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor at home and abroad with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Bibliometrics, Evaluation of Science and Technology, or a related discipline.

Job Requirement
Candidates should have a PhD in a related discipline. Full-time candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching. Successful candidates will also guide young teachers and graduate students at Beijing Normal University and UIC to carry out project related research work. Preference will be given to candidates who can undertake independent research leading to outstanding outcome, including publications in high quality international-refereed journals.

候选人应拥有博士学位专职人员需致力于优秀的本科或研究生教学。成功录取者还将指导北京师范大学和UIC的青年教师和研究生开展项目相关研究工作。优先考虑能够进行独立研究并取得突出成果（包括在高质量的国际权威期刊上发表论文）的候选人。


Benefits 
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance (applicable to Assistant Professor and above), leave and medical insurance.
