一、 数学博士后流动站

2023年北京师范大学-香港浸会大学联合国际学院(简称:北师港浸大)被国家人社部获批设立数学博士后流动站。数学学科是北师港浸大重点建设学科,目前开设数学与应用数学、金融数学两个本科专业,并已获教育部批准开设数学一级学科的境外研究型硕士、博士学位项目。面向国家及粤港澳大湾区战略新兴产业发展需要,数学系结合学科发展,集中优势力量和资源培养具有严格数理思维和国际视野的思想活跃、创新意识和能力强、脚踏实地、有理想有朝气的优秀新型数学人才。北师港浸大作为国内第一所新型博雅大学,始终走在教育改革的前列,已发展成为在国内外具有一定影响力和粤港澳大湾区高等教育合作的典范大学,受到社会的高度关注。学校国际化程度较高,采用全英文、国际化教学模式,尤其是近三年大力引进高层次人才的举措,使得数学学科可以较快地建立一支高水平的国际化科研队伍。现共有全职教师24人,包括1位中国科学院院士、1位国家级高层次青年人才、1位省级高层次杰出人才、1位省级高层次领军人才在内的讲席教授6人、教授3人、副教授11人和助理教授4人,所有教师均具有博士学位及境外科学研究经历。


二、 招收条件

1. 遵纪守法,具有较强科研能力、学术发展潜力以及良好的国际视野;

2. 年龄不超过35周岁;

3. 近三年取得国内外知名高校或科研院所博士学位,或通过博士学位论文答辩的应届博士;

4. 全职在校从事博士后研究工作。

The Postdoctoral Program in Mathematics

The Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC), the first innovative liberal arts institution in China, has consistently led the way in educational reform. It has evolved into a paradigmatic institution for higher education collaboration within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, garnering considerable influence both domestically and internationally. The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers undergraduate programmes in Applied Mathematics and Financial Mathematics. The department has also secured approval from the Ministry of Education to provide research-oriented master's and doctoral degree programs in Mathematics. In 2023, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China (MOHRSS) granted UIC the authorization to establish a postdoctoral station in Mathematics. Over the past three years, the Department of Mathematical Sciences has rapidly assembled a high-caliber international scientific research team. The department currently boasts a faculty of 24 full-time teachers, including one academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, one national-level high-level young talent, one provincial-level high-level outstanding talent, and one provincial-level high-level leading talent. Each faculty member holds a doctoral degree and has accumulated experience in overseas scientific research.

  1. Excellent academic performance and research potential. Possess good international vision.

  2. Under the age of 35;

  3. A doctoral degree obtained within the recent three years or Ph.D. candidates who have passed the

    doctoral defense;

  4. Work full-time in the College.

· Remuneration and Benefits

1. A highly competitive salary package:

 · The College collaborates with relevant governmental departments, preponderant disciplines,

   supervisors, and university-local authority cooperation platforms to build a new postdoctoral

   support system for postdoctoral fellows. A comprehensive annual salary ranges from 300,000 CNY to 450,000 CNY;

 · Allowances of maximum 150,000 CNY from governments at all levels;

 · Performance-based reward will be provided when obtained outstanding research output;

 · Social insurance, housing fund and supplementary commercial insurance shall be covered;

 · Accommodation and excellent living facilities are available;

 · Underage children of postdoctoral fellows are entitled to enter public schools available;

 · Create an excellent research community and the continuous efforts made to provide international collaborations;

 · Relocation fee of maximum 700,000 CNY can be applied for from the government if continue to work in Guangdong upon completion of the programme.
